Irish -Gaelic Language Classes for Children
The Celtic Junction is delighted to offer Irish-Gaelic language classes for children and their parents. Through songs, rhymes and stories, children and parents will begin their pursuit of proficiency in Modern Irish Gaelic. Classes will have a strong conversational focus.
Instructor Tom Jeffers is a native of Dublin, Ireland. He attended Gaelscoileanna (all-Irish speaking schools) in Dublin from the age of four and pursued the language in University. He graduated in 2007 from University College Dublin with a degree in Irish Gaelic and History. Tom was awarded a Fulbright Teaching Assistantship in 2008, and has been filling the role of Irish Gaelic Teaching Assistant at the University of St. Thomas since.
